POWER THREAD (Sun., Starz)

Joseph Sikora (Tommy) was in a McDonald's commercial with Michael Jordan in 1990.

Anyway, not sure if this was mentioned before but I don't trust those hotel people either. I'm getting a "Stern" vibe from them like they have an agenda as well.
Prolly working with Milan on the low too :nerd:

Yea, I think that's the setup for his next L after the milan thing.

My money on kanan over LL. Bruh came back from burn wounds in 2 weeks and broke outta that locked room while stabbed and on fire.

But on the real, who's the iller villain? Kanan or LL Cool J as God from "In too Deep"? :nerd:

Fam brought the pool stick to sons digestive track and chopped his body up in the dumpster. "Why we gotta rock like WHAATTT...Love it...Love it...Love it!!! Think about her, think about her"

Queens cats are foul on the low

I still laugh to this day when I hear LL's dialogue in that scene. "Think about her, think about her" Dude deserved that though. How you push up on your man's wifey like that? Especially when your manz is God?

:smokin
 at Shyheim's face

Power execs 'turn Chris Brown away from Starz series because of anger issues... despite pal 50 Cent promising him a role'

It's been a dramatic couple of days for Chris Brown, who was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon on Tuesday.

And now Page Six is reporting that, due to his anger issues, the 27-year-old has lost a potential role on Starz series Power.

Chris's pal 50 Cent, 41, had arranged for the starring role, but network execs allegedly stepped in to put a stop to that plan.

He's got his back! The role was originally promised to him by his friend 50 Cent, who insisted Chris would still appear on the series despite the setback

The Loyal singer was supposed to have a big role on Power, playing a drug dealer, a source close to the performer shared.

'I'm just going to turn the other cheek and drop some...

However, 50 Cent - real name Curtis James Jackson III - had failed to consult the network before promising the role to Chris.

'The network insisted that Chris’s casting was not going to happen, because of fears about his anger issues,' a source said.

Drama: Chris was reportedly set to play a drug dealer on Power (pictured: 50 Cent on Power), but execs vetoed the role 'because of fears about his anger issues'

'There was a big blowup, and they had to tell Chris he was not going to get the role. The news was delivered to him early Monday. He was livid.'

Despite the network's response, 50 Cent still told Page Six: 'Tune into Power next season, because you will see Chris Brown.'

Meanwhile, the following day at 3am aspiring actress Baylee Curran called police on Chris, claiming he had pointed a gun at her after she was admiring a diamond necklace during a party at his home.

Chris denied police entry when they arrived, insisting on a search warrant, which caused an hours-long standoff at the singer's house.

He was later arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, before being released on a bail of $250,000.

His lawyer has since said that the gun threat had been 'fabricated.'

'That's my boy' 50 Cent shared a series of Instagram posts after Chris's arrest, passionately defending the star

50 Cent showed his support for Chris after this incident as well, posting a shot of the singer to Instagram along with a frustrated caption.

'I have a different relationship with Chris, That's my boy.I watched him come up, a lot of the s**t he go threw is crazy to me. If your not safe at home when do you get a break?' he wrote, alongside a black and white photo.

'If someone calls 911 and says you pulled a gun on them in your house, are the police coming to creat a bunker at the end of your drive way for 11 hours to wait for a search warrant? Then live stream it, This must be VIP Treatment. SMH.'

I could see Chris in the role of Tariq's mentor. Tariq has the potential to be the best character on the show. Hopefully he can continue to progress.

Very very interesting.

Do y'all think Tariq could some what grow into a monster like Michael from The Wire?

That's what I'd like to see. It would be very interesting if he started dealing at his school.
