Instead of hacking a movie company
How about a bank institution and spread the wealth to everyone in the us
This.
It comes out again this summer as "the movie they didn't want you to see". Everyone goes to see it to see what the big deal was. A Christmas Day release never made any sense.

Yeah, nothing sells a movie like people threatening to shoot up theatres that are airing it!
Sony is ahead of its time
Who said they were going to "shoot up the therater"? They made a 9/11 and you already spooked.
All the **** going on in the world, and you think they're going to attack over a movie???
Pull your panties out your box and listen to what your saying.
why would any theater risk it tho ? And you think this is publicity stunt listen to what your sayingWho said they were going to "shoot up the therater"? They made a 9/11 and you already spooked.

Half the theatres pulled out because of the threats.
How does that build up any sort of real buzz?
If anything, any momentum it had was completely derailed by this move.
Clearly you know nothing about marketing if you think this is a PR move by Sony.
Yall act like hoaxes to promote media is outrageous. It goes back to War of the Worlds on the radio. Had people thinking aliens were really attacking Earth.
You foolish if you think the pulled the movie behind the "threats", they don't want nothing else leaked that'll cost Sony more money.
It's gonna drop eventually, they paid too much for it.
I'm not saying for sure, this is a marketing ploy, but Sony damn sho gonna try and flip it into one.

comparing this to War of the Worlds
NT has some characters yo
"Excellent viral PR move Sony."

YALL missing the point, I'm not saying SONY is totally behind ALL of this. The hackers made the threats, therater pulled the movie, Sony falls in line, lord knows they don't want to look like they don't care. We all know it's all about the $$$. It's gonna come out later and Sony will play into it, so you'll check out what you wasn't able to see before.
Threatening to shoot up a therater, does that really sound like North Korean or an American that knows exactly what to say to get attention???
I haven't read this thread in its entirety yet, but Im glad North Korea hacked Sony..the movie they were about to release is disrespectful as hell. At the same time, this situation will make our IT folks better nationwide
Murderer as in guy who was just doing his job and ended up using perfectly reasonable self defense, murderer?Don't care. All these ppl have so much to say about the Sony executives decisions and comments but were mute when ABC paid for a murderer's interview instead of the parents
It's all about money and Kevin Hart is corny so who cares
Was there a thread about this movie before this happened? Even if there was one, was we posting in it?
