Oh man, I had no expectations or hopes for this. I was actually a little disappointed this seemed to be starting over with Stewart being a GL for the first time all over again.
This turned out to be one dope sci-fi galactic war mass murder mystery. Another W for DC animation. Storytelling was too good, too solid. Didn't fall into any of the usual pitfalls like an origin re-telling or any annoying characters. Even Green Arrow didn't bother me. They even included Adam Strange in to this
The Hal Jordan twist just capped it off even though I knew something was up once he showed up in that cave.

I will say though, John on his first day of being a GL taking on a Parallax possessed Hal Jordan with like 12 GL rings on him after a short training course and winning after beating Sinestro by himself sure is propping him up on a pedestal after praising Hal as the greatest GL in the universe.
