It's same color as the tongue just like all the X. Not a deal breaker for me. You can always paint it if you must.

the kobe logo that changes color with the swoosh is the "X" on the heel, not the one on the tongue.

I had the same idea, but retail on the elite id is a strain, I just hope they release some decent elite lows.
