did you have column browser view on when you did that? that and you being in the genre heading would explain why it used to do that. Under normal circumstances typing an H would give you a general search of every H in your library, wherther that be in the title, artist, or genre fields.  

the tab functionality changed in iTunes 10.4. Use control+7 to switch between tabbed areas

what browser are you using? that just seems like your keychain items need to be reset or whatever. It should do it on it's own. Chrome sometimes forgets that stuff when it's updated and it has to recache itself

I dont know how to view in COLUMN BROWSER. How can I can it to go back the way it was? I edit so much music every week, it takes too much time to type everything out. 



I will try this when I get home tonight. Im so used to just hitting tab. 




Ever since I switched over to MAC, I've been using SAFARI (the latest version). Should I use something else?

open iTunes, View>Column Browser>Show Column Browser. It will show a dropdown menu for each heading (artist, album, genre, etc). Safari is straight...maybe update it or reinstall it and see if it will repopulate input fields like it did before

if you want the basics, use GIMP. It's freeware

For some reason after time i use my macbook and the airport settings for wifi, it messes up my internet router causing it to reset. Anyone know whats the deal with that?

it happens. i think it has something to do with your cache. after a while or a refresh it goes back to the normal black/red. This usually happens to me when Yuku is having it's monthly issues

So I just received my new Macbook Pro from Apple. I got the 15 inch 2.0GHz  i7 with a 500gb HDD 7200 rpm and the Hi-Res Screen. I got it with 4gb of RAM but I am going to be upgrading in a week or so to 8gb of ram. As far as accessories go I bought an Incase hard shell case and Moshi keyboard cover and Palmguard. Do I need any other accesories?

This being my first Mac I was wondering what do you guys think are some must have software? Also do you guys recommend any website in general that has like tutorials about how to do things on a Mac?
