The Official Netflix Thread Tho: Recommend Streaming Movies

Doc about Wayne White called Beauty is Embarrassing was pretty damn good if you are into art. He is the guy who created the set for Pee Wee's Playhouse.
 
Stumbled upon a show last night called Lilyhammer. Apparently, it was the first Netflix original series.

It stars Silvio from The Sopranos. He plays a former Mob fixer who snitches on the new boss and then gets relocated to Norway. It is an odd premise but the show is damn good. Two seasons are available on Netflix. I am almost done with season 1. If you don't mind subtitles I highly recommend it.
 
So I'm watching Prison Break. It's so damn contrived, corny, far fetched and predictable, yet I can't stop watching. :lol:

I'm about halfway through season 2 and I gotta ask, is the rest of it just more of the same double crossing and amazingly unbelievable close calls/escapes?
 
Finally watched all 5 seasons of Sons of Anarchy. Show is a hot mess :lol: Still planning on watching season 6 now that the season is over.

Just wait until you get to the last season, you'll constantly shake your head and wonder why you keep watching.

The 1st season is some of the best tv i've ever seen and i'm someone who watches too much damn tv.

I really strongly recommend it. Spitzer went after Wall Street hard and made powerful enemies that helped led to his downfall. You could tell he was on the brink of something special till it all collapsed.

Oh and after he resigned many of his Wall Street regulations were changed and it was out of control again and then 2008 happened :smile:

watched "American horror story" the second season...can't figure out if I liked the 1st one better or not...
watched first season of "new girl"...cece is bbbaaaddd....
watched "the league"...hilarious
"wild bill" some british gang movie...half way decent...
 
Watched "sightseers"...dark comedy...pretty funny...

What Is Expiring From Netflix Streaming on January 1?

For many months now, we here at Vulture have tried to keep you apprised of what is new and what is worth watching on Netflix Streaming. For a while, it was also possible to find out what was expiring, information that was valuable to the Netflix user who maybe wanted to watch something before it disappeared from his or her Instant Queue (which is now called "My List"). Earlier this year, Netflix removed the ability to easily find out in bulk what titles were expiring from its library, which means that users on Reddit and other sites have picked up the slack. One such Reddit thread (as well as a few other random posts across the 'net) lists all the TV and movie titles that will be expiring on January 1.

Important to note: Owing to the vagaries of Netflix's contractual agreements, it's very possible that some of these will only disappear from the site for a few months, a few days, or maybe even just a single day or a few hours. It's up to you whether any of them are important enough for you to watch immediately. We will continue to update.
