Thanks, in my mind I knew it was, but I wanted to make sure. It must be the shade they use that creates the illusion. (Or I need to get my eyes checked. )

Got my spruce and was hoping the spruce was darker and less bright teal. I’ll be sending mine back.

^^From what I've seen on pics they seem to be pretty similar to the 90/1 spruce/limes in terms of coloring. I thought those looked great on the early pics (these were from Premier Store if I remember correctly, a lot of their pics are a bit darkish).

I didn't really like them in hand, too much white, the teal was lighter and the voltish swoosh looked flat/dull and doesn't fit its white background very well. The AMIII spruces seem to have the exact same teal color.

Think I'm gonna get a pair anyway. We'll see.

Exactly. I have that pair and depending on lighting in the pic, they look different in every pic. I’ll compare them to the latest version whenever they arrive.

Regarding the actual color spruce, according to Pantone, it is closer to teal.

The darker green some of you are expecting is closer to forest green.

If these were that dark spruce in your picture I would be ok. Instead they look like this.

I can confirm, they are brighter than I was expecting them to be. I do like them, but they are “brighter” in person than pics on here show. (Including my pic from earlier today).

As promised...

The new version is definitely a brighter shade of green than 90/1 version, but not enough that I care. They’re still a good spring/summer shoe. I’m going to continue beating my old pair into the ground before I break them out though. I’ve waited years for NIKE to retro this shoe, so I’m happy and won’t nitpick. The shape is right and it’s close enough in color.
