You don’t really see high top sneakers being made. It’s either mid cut or low cut. It’s good to have a high top sneaker like the 9 just in case you need some containment/protection above the ankle.

I would guess that these weren't exactly the easiest shoe to fake...but I'd still ask for pictures of the drop-in midsole. Possibly taken with a camera that isn't a potato.
