It's cool if Riff Raff annoys you. I can't expect everyone to like the same artist. It's this whole, "how do people listen to this?" "how could you guys like this" "I don't understand why anybody would enjoy this" !!## that I don't like.

It seems like you keep forgetting that people aren't constructed the same. You're trying to view people through your lens. You're too narrow minded.

Drop your opinion on whether or not you like a song or artist and keep it moving. It's fine, I like reading the different ways posters have reacted to certain things. Ignoring the fact that music will trigger different emotions in different people though, and trying to probe them to figure out why when we're amongst so much diversity, is wack.

I did drop my opinion though...so what do you particularly like about Riff Raff?
I just feel like artists like him purposely make a mockery out of hip hop
 
If you would've said "I think he's garbage" or anything blunt along those lines, that would've been fine. It's that "how could people listen to it" that I think is extra.

I don't enjoy all of his work, but I do like "Larry Bird" and his verses on "Squirt" & "Cuz My Gear". I think it's a mixture of things, he's got a bit of a funny voice but it I like the unconventional tone, combined with some of the harder sounding beats he's on, makes it a fun listen for me. I can't really explain it, it just sounds good to me. There's a part of me that is really receptive to that type of rap. It's not exactly following the conscious module set forth in the 80's, but as far as listening to something, and enjoying it, that %$** just happens with this music. I wish I could break down each part of a track like Anthony Fantano or something but unfortunately I can only tell you what the inner parts of my mind and body tell me, and that's that certain Riff Raff tracks, as well as Chief Keef, Lil B, Metro Zu, and SpaceGhostPurrp songs make me feel really good.

Both MOTM's are tough. The only flaw with he 1st one is "Make Her Say". That song didnt belong at all. It was like the awkward moment on that LP
 
Why, when I put my iTunes on random, i just plays the same songs? If I have 1000 songs, i should hear 1000 songs at random. I put on my Smoke DZA playlist, which consists of like 50 songs, and it just kept repeating like 6 songs over and over smh

its skips songs if they arent checked. does that help?

Mine does something like that too. If I pick a song and then choose shuffle, the tracks afterwards always come in the same sequence. Like every track has a set in stone shuffle sequence, but when I shuffle on the Iphizzle it doesn't do that.
 
For awhile now I've been trying to listen to more newer West Coast artists other than KL/Black Hippy and the older veterans that I normally listen to.
So I checked out 40 Glocc's 'New West Agenda' album (came out in January). It sucks.
 
Just seen Mac Miller in a Moutain Dew commercial... Dude ain't even on a label and he makin' major moves... you might not like his music, but you gotta respect his grind

^Rocky is fairly average, but sounds really good over Casino & Purrp beats. YG sounds like the 4th member of Travis Porter
and usually raps over garbage beats.
