I can definitely relate to this. I had to pump the breaks because I can't make my mind up on storage for them. I am thinking of pulling the trigger on the Kallax from Ikea though.

I saw a nice turntable stand that had a power strip built into it that supposedly can hold up to 400 records, but I'm skeptical on the durability of the structure.

Kallax type of shelves is what i've been using for many yrs. now and they are solid for what they are.yeah i wouldn't trust any turntable stand claiming to hold 400 records unless it was a custom built piece that's a lot of weight.

only interest in Team Sleep LP and Casual - Fear Itself LP at the moment but i don't line up on RSD.i'm usually able to get what i want online later on for a lot cheaper than in store.

Wish parklife wasn’t a picture disc

Will prob go for the cracker island deluxe (even though I have the single lp release already), and talking heads. Maybe air too.

Thought it was just the sale section but looks like its the whole site. Ended up getting Usher's second album, sale price was too good to pass up

Appreciate you calling it his second album, most think it was his first. I would have grabbed that, I thought it was only for sale items.

Sale is over, bumped a few of them back to full price too.

Kid Cudi Entergalactic and Insano are $12 a pop. Shipping ain’t cheap though.

is flipping vinyl's a real thing, and worth it?? or is it more of finding a treasure (flea market) and then selling?

yes it's a real thing but vinyl collectors are very particular if condition is not as described to the tee and any imperfection not mentioned they will want money back or a discount quick like.if you plan on buying a record and selling it to a record shop they are going to most likely rip you off no matter how valuable the record is.where the money comes is when you sell it yourself locally or online but it's a big headache.shipping services tend to sometimes damage records quite often.record sleeve condition is also a big deal when grading condition also gotta worry about other variables like heat warping records which effects playback and condition.finding a flea market "treasure" that is in good condition and that you didn't have to pay much for is where you are probably going to make the most profit.but flea market/discount bin treasures are becoming very rare to come by these days. i've only flipped at most 10 records i've just been collecting vinylz for near 10 yrs..

For the hip-hop enthusiasts you can get Nas first 2 (and my favorite) albums for 25% off when bundled. Be aware Illmatic won’t ship till the end of the month but with standard shipping it’s about 22 dollars a piece.

Really need a Reasonable Doubt release

^I’m trying to stick to that same rule. Had a small collection only for display/framing purposes… now we are a solid 40-50 records deep .

Shop I went to yesterday said it had 100 people camped out for RSD. Had no idea it was that serious. I went midday and heard 2 shoppers ask about Lil Wayne - Sorry 4 the Wait. Funny thinking about that being a potential grail for millennials.

Paid too much for these but 2 of my favorite mixtapes ever. Distant Relatives was a gift for my wife. It’s the only record she asked every shop if they had it so finally decided to just pay the premium.

I was tempted to get the official reissue of that Krit but he couldn’t clear all the samples. Needed the OG in all its glory.

Does the og press of Distant Relatives have all the songs? I read it was missing a track or two. That’s why I went for the reissue. And again, sucker for colored vinyl
