Something kinda similar happened to me. I pulled up to a party and saw two girls with the hood popped. They were pouring water and seemed to know what they were doing, so I just chilled in the car. Dude I knew pulled up and sprinted over there like it was an emergency, only to pour in the rest of the water. Dude that was with him was laughing when he spoke to me, kinda implying that I should've helped them.

It just boils down to women being spoiled during certain eras (due to them being seen as weak and helpless) and they grew accustomed to it. They don't want to be seen as weak anymore, but they still don't feel like doing certain things because 'that's just the way it is'. Basically they just want to have their cake and eat it .

Kinda off topic, but this reminds me of a few situations I've had in the past. One girl arrived to a door before I did and legit stood there until I opened it I was like 'are you serious?'
Another similar occurrence with a different girl, we arrived at the movies and I was waiting for her to get out of the car, after a few moments go by, I see that she's inside doing absolutely nothing she was just waiting on me to open her car door. One we got to the stairs, I began walking up and realize she didn't follow suit, she wanted me to basically escort her up the stairs I was like 'this is a casual date, not the prom'.
