My examples were meant to prove that music theory is not the end all when it came to the greatness of a musician, and also as a rebuff to the guythat said MJ shouldn't be included since his knowledge of music theory is "questionable" at bestOriginally Posted by buggz05

Also vocals is an instrument ...... and let's not even get into musical theory 'cause many famous, well respected dead and alive musicians don't/didn't know a lick of music theory and at the very best just enough to barely get by

I'm just saying musician = performer...on stage, live etc. and performer as in =/= dancing; singing =/= playing
vocal chords are an instrument. But lets leave the best singer tag to the best singer, and the best musician tag to some one who plays and performs an instrument for a living...that's all..
