Does anyone know why they changed the air units on the 93’s and what was the reason can’t seem to find anything about it?

They've come up with poor excuses, nothing that really makes sense when you look at the vapormax.

I think the real reason is fat bags pop easier and Nike doesn't want to deal with all the returns

They can deal with me not copping if they don't make them how they're supposed to be made though

I'll wait another 25 years if I have to

They never were a performance shoe really. No one looked at Nike back then for performance, it was all about the design. Form over function used to be Nikes mantra.
