Would you be mad? Vol "That's Racist!!"

Get emotional in the V next time.

I would have been slightly offended, but not mad. Wouldn't have ruined my night.

So they took it down immediately and were extremely apologetic. Im not seeing what the problem is.
But tears. Real life tears bro? Like were they streaming down your face, or were you so upset your eyes just watered a bit. If you were in fact sobbing outside the bar you have the absolute worse post to avy ratio in the history of mankind.

Also not sure what scenario would leave you with a winning lawsuit, unless there was a whites only sign on the front door.

The lawsuit thing was just drunk talk. As for the tears, I didn't walk outside and immediately lean back against the wall and slide to the floor crying, lol. I just walked down the block to calm down and not get all angry in the bar, and after about a block I just start tearing up. Nobody was around to see the tears. Had I not been bent I wouldn't have gotten so emotional, or at least kept that **** to myself. Instead I come home and post it on NT.

Alcohol is alcohol, but you saw an opportunity to feel victimized and latched onto it like it was your last breath. That doesn't just magically occur under the influence, that's in you.

im not black but seeing those kinds of things bugs the hell out of me...

all that stuff from back in the day, which wasnt that long ago to begin with just stings..

this is the only race thread i see so here goes a story i read about this morning..

Forest Whitaker is furious with a NYC deli ... telling TMZ he was wrongly accused of shoplifting Friday morning ... and even FRISKED IN PUBLIC in a humiliating violation of his rights.

Whitaker -- an Academy Award-winning MILLIONAIRE -- says he was on his way out of the Milano Market on the Upper East Side Friday when he was stopped by a deli employee and accused of swiping an item from the shelf.

An eyewitness tells TMZ ... the employee proceeded to frisk Whitaker in plain view ... treating him as if he were a common criminal.

Shocker, the employee's pat down yielded zilch ... and Forest left the establishment baffled and angry.

Whitaker's rep tells TMZ, "This was an upsetting incident given the fact that Forest did nothing more than walk into the deli. What is most unfortunate about this situation is the inappropriate way store employees are treating patrons of their establishment.

"Frisking individuals without proof/evidence is a violation of rights."

The rep adds, "Forest did not call the authorities at the request of the worker who was in fear of losing his employment. Forest asked that, in the future, the store change their behavior and treat the public in a fair and just manner.”

We called Milano Market for comment -- but no one wanted to talk.

WHO THE HELL DOESNT RECOGNIZE FOREST WHITAKER??

It's not even about recognizing Forest or accusing him of stealing. He shouldn't have let dude pat him down.

I'm a firm believer that alcohol does nothing but exaggerates how you really feel, not turn you into a completely different person.

As far as racist, I kinda take all racist things as a joke nowadays. No normal person can still be racist in this day and age. It's like getting mad at a special needs child for calling you dumb, meh

This you, OP?

 @ talmbout filing a lawsuit. You had a right to be mad though. You did the right thing telling the staff about it. You said they turned it off. If it's that big of a deal, just boycott the place and tell everyone you know that the place is no good or slander them all over the internet. At least you got a valid excuse not to leave a tip.

it was racist and they knew it...

drunk posting is just as bad as drunk bidding on ebay...

laugh it off with wifey...

peace

I wouldn't be mad at all. It was just a cartoon, fam. It's not like they drew it themselves, and they have the right to display it if they want.

OP I know that feel.

I rarely do it but sometimes when the remys in the system, aint no tellin if I'll bust out into tears over some srsly mundane snarf.

I remember one time I cried cuz some girl thought I was a player. Tears runnin all down my cheecks in the middle of the bar and snarf. Aint gonna lie, at the time it felt good, cuz I knew the tears werent from the rejection, but from something deep inside (i recently broke up with my gf of a semi-long time). Man, the next day I felt stupid as hell though. Did bout 100 pushups to regenerate balance :smokin

so the problem may not be the cartoon, it was only a catalyst. Find out what really made you cry...

I understand why he was mad. It was insensitive and disrespectful of them to show it. They do absolutely have a right to show it, but he also has a right to address them for it. Like I said before, best thing to do is boycott them and spread the word about it. Seems like they were apologetic and rectified the problem tho...

This is how I picture OP after he went outside tho..

Had to have been the drinks bruh. Yeah that's bad, but not anything to cry about. Good for you for talking to management though.
