Raw has the most complicated storylines in their top 2 feuds and Smackdown's are simple and easy to follow, prolly also why Raw's ratings are plummeting and Smackdown is on the rise.
Monday Night RAW
1. WWE Universal Championship:
Seth Rollins is upset that Triple H helped Kevin Owens win the Universal Championship, we have no idea why Triple H helped Kevin Owens and Stephanie McMahon claims she no longer speaks to her husband. Therefore Seth Rollins is acting like a brat in order to get another match with Kevin Owens. Reigns who also felt wronged wants in on the Universal Championship match. He is put in a 1 on 1 match with Kevin Owens to be included in on the Triple Threat Match. Roman loses because Seth Rollins interferes in the match. Roman is also dealing with Rusev and has been awarded a US Championship Championship. But to make up for the match last week against Kevin, Roman is put in a cage match with nothing on the line. But Roman should also be owed a championship match because he beat Kevin Owens last night in the cage match. To top it all off Mick Foley is treating Roman and Seth differently when they both have similar gripes. Though Seth has been ruder and more demanding, he seemingly gets better treatment then Roman.
2. WWE Raw Womens Championship:
Sasha Banks lost the championship to Charlotte at Survivor Series, Sasha is injured in the storyline and disappears. Bayley emerges and challenges Charlotte for the championship. She is told that if she beats Dana she is the #1 contender. Bayley beats Dana to become the #1 contender. Week later Sasha returns and proclaims she is getting a rematch at Clash of Champions. Bayley then beats Charlotte in a 1 on 1 matchup that same night. The next week Sasha and Bayley claim they are the rightful #1 contender. Mick puts Bayley, Sasha and Dana in a triple threat match to see who is the #1 contender. Sasha is declared the winner and she is the #1 contender. The next week, Bayley claims the previous match ended in a double pin (Edit: Dana and Charlotte pointed this out). Thus she is put in the championship match making it a Triple Threat Sasha vs Bayley vs Charlotte at Clash of Champions.

Smackdown
1. WWE Championship:
Dean Ambrose is mad Aj Styles cheated to win the WWE Championship. John Cena wants to win his 16th Championship. Dean and John are fighting over the #1 contendership. Aj Styles is waiting to see if he will face one or both of them.
2. WWE Smackdown Womens Championship
Becky Lynch won a 6-pack challenge to win the championship. Alexa Bliss won a Fatal 5-way to become the #1 contender. It is Becky Lynch vs Alexa Bliss at the PPV.
