Capcom: we don't have enough money to make sfv, since we spent so much money re-releasing sfiv.

No way I would do this but hey it's whatever as long as I get the gameSony can fund them without owning the rights.
Do they do that in just one place or is that like in big cities or something like that?
I think SF IV sold well over 5 milliI don't think fighting games even make that much money. There's a reason capcom does what it does with SF. Cash grabs are a must
I wanted capcom to port street fighter 4 over to the next gen but street fighter 5 will do. SF4 still feels fresh too which has me insanely excited for street fighter 5.
I wish capcom would stop neglecting marvel 3
in a way it is similar to Titanfall tho. They did fund the project and if they didn't it wouldn't have come out as soon as we are seeing it now. And if I remember correctly Sony wasn't in the best of financial situation to want to fund Titanfall and it was a new IP at the time so they probably didn't know how that would've sold (big loss on their part imo) not here to debate it with you just thinking that regardless some people will compare the situation to MS and Titanfall. And Capcom knows that the PS is bigger in Japan and other countries compared to the X1 so it might have made more sense for them to go to Sony-And this is not like Titanfall. Sony turned down giving Respawn/EA money to get a PS4 version. I highly doubt MS a similar decision with SFV
I never knew this. I honestly thought most preferred PS > Xbox when it came to fighters because of the PS's dpad. I have quite a few Xbox friends who hate PS but prefer fighters on PS.What's so funny about Streetfighter being on the PS is that with SF4 everyone, meaning pros like Daigo, JWong, all preferred playing it exclusively on the Xbox360 due to the PS3 having issues at tournaments.
Same thing with all the MLG events for COD everyone hated when they ran games on the PS because of lag and other crap. I remember Scrumpy and Nadeshot complaining about a tournament that was held and they ran COD on the PS and every single pro team complained and they went back to the 360.
I definitely think this is big for PS though... huge!
But, $ony did fund the project so they get that. Smart move!
I'm not much of a SF fan, but I know many are in here so that blows.

I really didn't know, I just play for fun. I was pretty decent online but no where near those "pros" Me and brother put in a lot of hours between SSF IV and UMvC3. I use to give him that work in SSF IV, don't think he's beat in about 4 yearsPS had too many controller issues. Paused the games, controllers would randomly connect and unconnect. Things like that
If Sony is funding in fact it, it seems more like Dead Rising 3 brah.
I wouldn't be surprised if Capcom's new strategy is to sell of games like this. Cause dem boys need the money, and seem pretty risk averse at the moment.
Mega Man is dead
(So are onimush and dino crisis)
