Those Reimagined Royals were so universally hated.. no idea what they were thinking releasing those.

Recent 85s have better materials and craftsmanship than OG highs. Also, they are obviously closer to the OG design.

Materials on the V2 mold seem to be getting worse, although that might have more to do with them moving production to Indonesia.

Sadly AJ 1 OG Highs have become a popular outlet staple now. Discounted pairs bring people into the Nike outlets so they are basically using them as outlet/factory store bait. The AJ1 fall off from 2020-2021 needs to be studied.

This release is a perfect example of modern Nike/JB ensh*ttification.

I believe you are correct. I know for a fact that they are slowing down on OG High and Low releases (with all the oversaturation going on with sales, etc.) so I'm guessing we might be starting to see that with the lows now. The Banneds sitting and hitting deep disco was apparently not a good...

Unfortunately, quality seems to be being cut for GRs. Was surprised last years SBBs were also significantly worse than the 2015s.
