why not buy a beater (if you really need a vehicle) and eliminate your student loans instead? That way once you're out of debt, you can save up for whatever you want. And by the way, it's very uncommon to get 0% financing for a used car.

Take this as a lesson learnt. If you're employer had to pick someone to lay off, would they pick the employee that showed initiative or the guy that just met expectations? Keep your head up.
