I wear mine as beaters and to work all the time. They are great shoes for $75 or whatever I paid for them. After one or two wears they break in nicely. Not comparable to the sig models, but I've always liked take-down models. If I want to wear heaters I have plenty in the closet to choose from.

I would avoid the washer simply because of how thin the material is on them near the top lace hole. It will split/rip easily. Hand wash them with Jason Mark or some cleaning solution in the sink and if the inside is really dirty, I throw a little bit of Laundry Detergent inside the shoe and wash...

I may have missed this conversation, but if the contract dispute thing was real, why would Nike drop the Mamba Fury weeks ago using his name and likeness if his contract was void? Literally says "Kobe/Mamba Mentality" in the descriptions of the shoes on sites like Eastbay.

Grabbed those Fury's up there and these Black/White Fury's for my lady off Hibbett for $150 for both pairs. They have a sale going on. Good looking shoe. Look's better than some of the AD's that have released in years past.

Still plenty of time to salvage the release of the Protro V's. Hopefully they give us at least all those colorways mentioned.

I agree. They feel good after break in as well. Not a bad shoe for $140 retail, even better for less. Way better than AD Mids.

Yeah....POP's were in the $300 range on StockX/GOAT in my size before he passed. I missed out thinking they would drop in outlets everywhere and I'd be able to snag two pairs, smh. Also wore my Carpe Diems to work and destroyed them thinking I'd be able to get another pair for cheap. :angry:

Such a random retro. VNDS pairs are still going for $60 online.
