The hard part about dealing Kanter is it opens up the whole narrative of Danny Ainge treating players like assets. Agents are keeping an eye on him, especially after what he did to Baynes.

Only reason I'd move Kanter is if Houston wanted him for some reason over Theis in a Capela trade, but I don't see that being the case whatsoever.
Other than that, he's too valuable to just be salary matching in a trade. His rebounding and interior scoring make him a real difference maker.

Glad to be here. I usually don't talk much sports on NT since it's usually a mess down here. Spend most of my time on the realgm forums talking hoop, but I must say - this thread has me surprised about the quality of content. Weren't too many of us back in the day, so I left after I got sick and tired of arguing with Kobe (RIP) and Lebron stans. You guys know your stuff.....except for that one dude. I probably have more Celtics jerseys than he has IQ points.

I think Ainge is 100% firm on not touching any of the core 5. Chemistry is special with those guys. I do think he'll do Theis/Romeo/VP/pick though if Houston would take it.
We'll have to see what happens with these talks they've apparently been having with Atlanta. I feel like the Hawks would be absolute morons for trading Collins to them.
