Hold up bro. My (what I now know to be) 2019 version has grey eyelets. My previous version from that (2014) had white eyelets. So what version is this? Was there a release in between those somewhere? Perhaps a euro release or something? I always thought there were 2 retro releases between 2014-2019. So there was actually 3 retros during that stretch? I’m confused lol.

That's what I thought too, but I'm seeing this now. Not sure if it was a regional release though?

Don't think it was a regional thing unless it was for NA because I remember then releasing in the States which has s more orange tone to the hot lava, 2014 were more pink. I chose to pass on them because my 2014 pair was still in good shape.

I think they released kids sizes in 2016 too which I don't think happened in 2014 or 2019.

Not sure either about the regional thing, but I did get my pair from the UK off of END.
 
I just remember it was too difficult on trying to get 2016 pair compared to 2014. Even just finding pictures or videos on youtube of the 2016 pair I couldn't really anything. I was trying to see if the 2016s still had the shiny/glossy lava print or if they reverted back to matte


Luckily the 2019s came out :lol:

It's made by a company called American Stitch. Can't remember where I saw it for sale, but I bought it instantly (and I could have sworn I also bought the Cerise color as well but I can't find it). I've never worn it as you can tell with the tags still on it. Once it arrives, the materials are heavy and stiff. Not a lightweight polo. And the cut is normal. Now I wasn't expecting a crop shirt like the OG (I still have my OG Cerise crop top from 1991 in near mint condition) but it's not what I hoped it would be, hence why I never wore it.

If I ever want "homage" style polos, I just go on Vollaix and see what Brian has made up. He doesn't have as many as he used to as his main job changed, but I think he may fire up the checkerboard Mac Polos again come spring.

Well, that I don't know about. All I remember is someone in here or in the Tennis thread said they were a go for 2024. I hope they finally get the shade correct and also if they would bring out all the OG colors (Pixels, Tarts/Clays, the women's colors which were awesome). Let's hope. 🙏🙏
