09' Challenger VS 09' Camaro

I wanted a mustang when they first came out then i got to drive some for my job, and then when the challenger came out i liked it but i thought it was kindatoo much money. Then I saw the camaro and really wanted one and wondered how much it would be, I went in 2 weeks ago and I was askin bout ordering one and theysaid they had one coming in the next week so I asked about it and ended up getting it the next day. I love it, I got the V-6 but I love it

Man that Transformer Maro is sick, the new bumblebee looks even sicker in Revenge! I still am going to try to cop a SRT next year. I would try to stretchmyself this year and cop, but I got an offer in on a house so one big purchase is enough. Wifey also wants an LR3 so she might be first but I willllllllll haveone!!!

As for the Camaro Z28, GM has only itself to blame. "It would cost too much," acknowledged Stefanyshyn, at an estimated price of about $50 million to bring to market. In years past, GM likely would have barely noticed that figure, since the Z28 has traditionally been a major halo car for the brand. With a planned horsepower rating of 570, Chevy was hoping to use the next-generation Z28 to regain its long-sought dominance over Camaro's prime rival, the Ford Mustang.

Chevrolet officials aren't ready to abandon the Z28 entirely. But Stefanyshyn admits it will take some creative engineering work to come up with an equally competitive product at a much lower price before the ultimate pony car could be placed back on the production schedule.

So, for the moment, Chevy will have to settle for three Camaro variants: the base and mid-level RS models equipped with a V-6, and the V-8-powered SS. First drive details coming soon from TDB.

I've got BBK long tubes, x pipe with no cats, edelbrock exhaust, tremec 3550 ******, spec stage 2 clutch, ford racing aluminum driveshaft, mcleod bellhousing, eibach drag launch kit with airbag, lakewood 70/30 struts, 50/50 shocks, maximum motorsports full length sub-frames and lower control arms, bbk strut bar, removed the smog pump, 3" crank pulley, ford racing gt-40 upper/lower intake, bbk cold-air, 65mm throttle body, electric fan with aluminum radiator, adjustable fuel pressure regulator......That's basically everything lol.
It ran a 13.4 at 101mph with slicks and before I added the suspension work, longtubes, exhaust, throttle body, gt-40 intake, elec. fan and alum. radiator.....
I recently just bought gt40 heads with upgraded springs and 1.7 roller rockers that I need to toss on in the next 2 weeks before the track. Should be in the mid to low 12's after that

. never ending story..... What a hobby lol.

Noice. I know someone who ran 12.0 in a stock SS with just slicks.

Pretty sure that damn thing is a factory freak though...

Actually every single Type-R ever released in the U.S. was limited and numbered.

The one depicted is the Canadian model that wasn't released in America in 1999.

The new Challenger will never be nearly as sought after as the Type-R. In 3-5 years his car will be worth less than mine.

Anyways OP was trying to get at me for no reason. I simply dispelled the notion of the Challenger being more powerful than the Camaro and he got all butthurtabout it.
