Glad that clown got ran outOriginally Posted by Statis22
Well I heard his recruiting at Ole Miss has been underwhelming. He would really leave the SEC for a 8 man football haven in Kansas. I find that hard to believe.
But then again this is Houston Nutt. I know he tried similar tactics at Arkansas too.

Would you rather face Kansas State, Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, Iowa State, and 3 of the Big 12 South teams each year...or Alabama, LSU,Arkansas, Auburn, Mississippi State, and 3 of the SEC East teams each year?Originally Posted by Bigmike23

Was Ole Miss much of an upgrade from Arkansas?Originally Posted by Bigmike23
there not but Kansas is not a upgrade either
Probably not, but they're looking to hit a home run after firing Mangino... Kansas has had some major success the last couple of years and theathletic department finally seems genuinely interested in pumping resources into the program... I said earlier I don't know why he'd leave Ole Miss forKansas, and it's likely he's just trying to gain bargaining leverage for a raise at Ole Miss... All I'm sayin is winning in the Big XII North iseasier than winning in the SEC...Originally Posted by Bigmike23

he got fired from arkansas tho
He was offered a pay raise to $2.4 million to remain the coach and turned it down and resigned. Not sure how that's being fired...Originally Posted by Bigmike23

Brian Kelly didn't interview today in New York to become Notre Dame's next football coach.
But then, Kelly already may know enough about the job to take it.
Kelly held a meeting last week about the opening with representatives of Notre Dame within days of Cincinnati's Big East championship game against Pittsburgh, the Tribune has learned.
Talks progressed well enough that the official announcement Kelly will be Charlie Weis' replacement could come as early as Friday -- anytime after Cincinnati's football banquet Thursday night.
