all the original beats from that era are corny as hell... best era for samples was still the early-mid 90s... late 90s and early 2000s were kinda wack...
a lot of that stuff sounded good back then but if you listen back today you'd laugh.

No way. I'd 86 to 96 was the best era of production and sampling and just plain originality and creativity. Don't get me wrong there was some good stuff put out in the early 2000's but nothing better than 86 to 96.
