I'm actually excited to see Kobe in this. Too bad Mac hasn't joined yet. I think it'll be fun to watch these guys since they love to launchthrees anyway. I actually don't think Kobe will do that bad. Not like AI

Rip on the other hand? Has he really improved his 3 that much? I haven't watched enough Pistons games to judge.
 
To say Kobe doesn't have a chance is an understatement. This competition doesn't show you are the best 3-point shooter. You just have to get hot at therite time. Kobe is very streaky as well but I think he has a good chance of getting this one.
 
It's strange that Kobe is going to be in it, but not as strange as seeing Richard Hamilton participate in a 3pt Contest...

Jason Kapono doesn't bring it back nearly as far as the other to and he doesn't jump as high...there reflexes are just as fast so do the math...

Kapono>Ray Allen>Micheal Redd
 
Kapono is currently the NBA's all-time greatest 3 point shooter (numbers wise). His shot is built for this kinda competition. As long as his feet are sethe's cash.

I see Boobie marginally losing though.
 
mike miller aka the smoothest shooter in the league got snubbed.

kapono will defend his title and win it again.
 
Kobe and Rip are much better midrange jumpshooters.........

But will still be really interesting to see what Kobe does.

1. m. miller
2. j. kapono
3. k. korver
4. r. allen
5. p. stojakovic
6. j. redick (as much as i dislike him, he's the james white of 3 pt shooting)

Nash & Kapono could take the title too though.

Kobe can't hit any shots ever since he messed up his finger. I don't know why he would participate in this and risk further injury

@ you guys dissing Rip for being there, he is shooting 46.7%from the 3.

That is better than Kobe, which I think will do horribly.
