I'm feeling it.

Seriously thinking about copping the entry level E.

But both Benz and BMW have been biting Lexus HARD!

Not a car expert, but I thought it was the opposite way around.
Thanks OP! Post pics of the coupe if you got them.

Nah those headlights are distinctively Lexus GS.

And the back end of the new BMW 7 series is damn near a replica of the LS.

Where did you expect them to take the design...the sharp creases and squaring off are family wide design traits....that headlight style was originate byMercedes...the tail is pretty boring...it looks a lot better in the flesh than I expected...very hot car can't wait to check one out...

Honestly not impressed at all..

I think Mercedes has fallen off with their designs recently..

I gotta say, this is the first car that on first impression I thought it was bulletproof by default.

Looks like something secret service would hop out.

The headlamps look sleepy too.

I'm disappointed in Mercedes taking out the circular headlights from it's C,E,SL,CL classes. It was kind of their trademark. I was really disappointedin the 2007 C Class, interior & handle sucked compare the generation before. I ended up getting a 05 c240 rather than C300. I want a CLS as my next car.Just like the C Class, the new E Class' interior took a step back from the current model. No woodgrain? Are you serious???

I wonder how it performs against the M5, Benz took the L last time around.
