It's not a question of if, but a question of where the St. Louis Rams will trade the No. 2 pick, league sources said Monday.
According to sources, the Rams already have had trade discussions with the Cleveland Browns (No. 4), Washington ******** (No. 6) and Miami Dolphins (No.
, each of whom is scheduled to pick in the top eight in April's draft.

The Rams, who already have quarterback and 2010 top pick Sam Bradford, also have discussed a potential trade with teams outside the top 10, according to a source, but it will be challenging for one to surrender enough compensation to vault to the second overall pick.
The Rams are seeking a deal similar to what the San Diego Chargers got for the rights to 2004 top overall pick Eli Manning, sources said Monday.
Manning was selected by the Chargers with the No. 1 overall pick in 2004 and traded to the New York Giants for two first-round picks, a third-round pick and a fifth-round choice.
With those picks, the Chargers ended up adding quarterback Philip Rivers, linebacker Shawne Merriman and kicker Nate Kaeding, all of whom have made multiple Pro Bowls.
The team that trades up to No. 2 on April 26 will likely select either quarterback Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III.
St. Louis' second overall choice became the focal point after RG3's sterling effort at the combine in Indianapolis on Sunday cemented Griffin and Luck as the likely top two overall picks on April 26.
While neither Luck nor Griffin decided to throw at the Indianapolis event, Griffin was officially clocked at 4.41 in the 40-yard dash, while Luck came in at 4.67. Luck also put his versatility on display Sunday. His broad jump (10 feet, 4 inches) was two inches short of quarterback Cam Newton 's best in 2011, and Luck's vertical jump (36 inches) was better than Newton's (35). Griffin was better than Luck in the vertical jump (39 inches) but fell short in the broad jump (10 feet).
The Indianapolis Colts, who hold the No. 1 pick, have said they will draft a successor to quarterback Peyton Manning with the top pick.
Among the teams Griffin interviewed with in Indianapolis were Miami, Washington, Minnesota and Kansas City. He said all went well, including his talk with Indianapolis executives trying to decide what to do with Manning and that top pick.

Do not forget Burfict is 2 inches shorter than listed. I do not know what he will become in the NFL and if you think you can coach him up you take him and try to fix him. He has shown flashes. But he isnt a great prospect. Prospect meaning deserving of a high pick. He has to many questions marks. You take guys like him on day 2 not because they wont pan out but because they are boom or bust.
Instincts are average
Got worse his Junior year
Interviewed poorly
Has on the field and off the field problems
And is less athletic than advertised
Not to mention you have to be an elite prospect at ILB to get drafted in the first round because of positional value.
Could he end up in the hall of fame? Sure. But he isnt getting a dime of gaureented money from my team.
Patrick Willis had to be one of the highest rated MLB prospects in the last decade and he went 11.

Kuechly is def better than Burfict. I'd probably take Lavonte David (who is underrated) over him too.
Outside of Kuechly it's not a great year for interior LB prospects.

How embarrassing is this? Mississippi St RB Vick Ballard eats it trying to run his 40. You think the other RBs were cracking up on the sidelines?

I could see that but this isn't the strongest class for Inside Linebackers and Burfict had a chance to make a statement and did so very poorly, Kuechly improved his stock and although he is a tackling machine he made plenty of tackles 10 and 15 yards down the field, although that could have been attributed to BC's poor D-line play

Interested to see the group of Defensive Backs tomorrow....and how Janoris Jenkins and Cliff Harris perform, both are great talents but come with plenty of baggage off the field, with Jenkins having been dismissed from Florida and him also having 4 kids, and Cliff Harris the CB from Oregon who had tons of off the field issues the past two years

Brown - mad undersized, Kuechly - Barrett Ruud Jr., Upshaw - slow for an OLB, would get eaten up in coverage. I love Hightower though, hope he's there at the beginning of the 2nd. Him and Burfict are still my favorite LB's in this draft.

I have to say I was absolutely SHOCKED to see Danny Coale with a 4.5 official/4.4 unofficial.
WE, that's an interesting article about how the clock officially starts on the player's first movement. I guess I always knew that but never really thought about how a wasted swing of the arm at the beginning can destroy your time. That's how you end up with Dontari Poe having the same 10 yd split as Ryan Williams
I have to say I was absolutely SHOCKED to see Danny Coale with a 4.5 official/4.4 unofficial.

there are amore than a few DL who have insane 10 yard splits that can measure up to RBs. its what makes them elite. they arent able to hold the top end speed for more than 15-20 yards, thats where the difference in 40 times come.
the burst in the start is really similar.
NFL Network spliced Tebow, Cam, RGIII and Mark Ingram and all of them had tremendous 10 yard splits and were all even at 10.
Its like sprinters, Usain Bolt is typically a slow starter and ppl like Tyson Gay and Asafa Powell have better 10s than him but after that ... good nite.

Still think Burfict is better than he's given credit for. Anything past the first round and he's a steal.

Thanks for the insight gunna. I guess it kinda makes sense given that a lot of these DL and OL generate enough explosion to have 35 inch verts even at 300 lbs. That's one reason why I thought Wilson would time better is his legs are huge and he puts up crazy squat numbers.
