2012 Summer Olympics Thread: London July 27 - August 12

Wow, the US won't be airing the opening ceremonies live?

They never do. Always save it for prime time on NBC.

The rest of the Olympics are live on like four different channels though. It's actually pretty impressive coverage, which they didn't have for many years.

They never do, unless the Games are in North America.

For any U.S. watchers that want to see it live you'll have to stream it on NBCOlympics.com (not sure about the Opening Ceremony, but all the events will be there live).

What channels homie?

That's dumb. They better at least start live coverage of the actual competitions.

Few posts up, dude. The NBC network channel only does evening recaps. They've been doing it that way for 20 years. NBC Sports has live coverage every day starting at like 4 am (west coast). Bravo is doing tennis, CNBC is doing boxing. Not sure what MSNBC is doing. Plus you can stream live online.

Let's get this show on the road!

20 mins in ~ Hmmmm.

I'll take the next 4 avy requests. It has to be related to the olympics though.

Damn I get what they are honoring and everything, but there is nothing spectacular, noteworthy, or interesting about how they've done this ceremony so far.
