Don't know if the numbers would work but is it possible for the Lakers to sign both Bledsoe and Monroe? 8o

CP how about this.. Maybe a 4th or 5th option.. But one that provides that bedrock you want.. Maybe Pau 1 year / $12mil, then go Asik in 2015. Could go Gortat, but I'm not too interested looking him up 3-4 years. 2016 could go with Thomas, Stephenson, Randle, Asik or Gortat, and $27mil in cap space.

IT certainly cheaper than Lowry/Bledsoe, it could be a nice fallback.

And like I said just before, I like Asik defensively for Randle, but offensively he would clutter. We'd need to push harder for Marc, and use Asik as the fallback.

And Gortat......well, Laker fans think he sucks, remember? :lol

Possible... But depends what Suns & Pistons are willing to match.

That was what I was thinkin about when I mentioned Mitch. Rather than deal with Bledsoe, Monroe, Hayward, or Parsons RFA's, he could target Lance, Lowry, and Pau and be done with his top 5 just like that. No matching to worry about, no if ands or buts. Just sign his pieces and start searching for bench guys.

But when I heard Woj mention Lowry would rather stay in Toronto, I got a real bad feeling about it. :lol

Yeah. But those guys won't fall until after Melo & LeBron fall, so you have time...

IT is probably the best RFA out there. Kings probably don't match at $8mil, and he's certainly worth that.

20 & 6 on offense, and plays solid defense.

Amir johnson is the best option at center next year and should be the target. Sleep on him if you want

Amir Johnson is your top defensive role playing big. When the Raptors signed Johnson to a big contract, the move was derided by many. It turns out it's probably the best signing of the Colangelo era in Toronto. Johnson was very good in pretty much every category and his defense could help put a contender over the top.

I'd take a flier on Emeka Okafor.
a  center like Pau will help Randle with his game as he is grinder down low, Pau can play away from the post where he has an advantage over most centers and has the shooting skills to keep them honest on him.

with the lack of size on this team, we need to keep Pau.

one thing the team still hasnt addressed is the need for an athletic big, i dont know who is out there that we could rely on if Pau leaves

amir johnson is only 6-9, not the most ideal size for a center, but it could work in the right system

Bosh + Randle would be a solid look.

Have no idea how we'd pry Bosh away from LeBron and Miami tho. Outside of overpaying him, of course. :lol

I'm starting to like this Randle kid.

Based off his enthusiasm to be a Laker, I hope he's here awhile.

Hopefully his game will grow and he can be a piece we have for awhile.
