It's been random and been giving on a couple of different recent releases too. I got that same bag for my Kobe Protros, others had them for their Lebron Watch shoes.

Man that sucks for you bro. “Crappy leather quality”? On these? Pics? I think it’s safe you might be the only one who’s pairs’ have “crappy” leather. Bad luck I guess. My bred toes are pretty stiff like my breds and royals compared to these. Nice overall quality but still stiff in comparison. And yeah you bet tumbled doesn’t mean better leather quality yet so many people actually think that, sadly, Please post some detailed pics of your pairs so we can all see the crappy leather you’re talking about.

The grey is very nice and soft. But the black is the standard hard plastic feeling leather.

There’s not really a huge variant in quality tho. Pairs are far more consistent than previous releases and it’s fair to say quality is good across the board on these. That said I’m sure there’s still some mixing and matching going on and Stockx/Goat should always be the last resort.

I think mrpatterson20 is correct. even on YT, people are either calling the quality as superb! or just on par like the royals etc release... the variance is big enough to cause division.

Completed the triple up today. The trinity plus 1

One pair is flawless plush black panels with a nice grain, one pair with a slight tumbled toe box and soft side panels and one with mismatch toe boxes and slightly different shades

Yeah I see what you’re saying. The black parts on my pairs have a lot more stress areas than that. The black parts on your pair on that pic actually does look like Royals level quality. Interesting. Maybe I lucked out. Can you post pics of the medial side and maybe your other pair as well? How’s the toe box? Is it soft to the touch at all? Need answers lol

Yea I know, that’s the pair I’d prob use as trade bait. So yea buying on StockX can be hit or miss on 1s, ppl will off their worst quality pairs their.
