i understand working the ball around and passing up good shots for better shots but are the rockets going to get a better shot than open shots early in the possession like those. the system was built to hoist those type of shots. unfortunately, they just didnt even get a fraction to go down and it allowed dubs to run down in transition before they could even set their defense. i think that hurt them the most, cause the pace from those missed shots didnt force the warriors to take the ball out and set their defense
That's the thing though. When the shots stopped falling in the 2nd half, instead of slowing down, they kept doing the same damn thing, and that's what made it frustrating to watch as a fan. It's a Game 7, you are going to have to make an adjustment to win the game even though it may not be your bread and butter. Rockets failed to make an adjustment (obviously wouldn't since MDA said he wouldn't make one at any time during the series) which compounded into a L.
