2019 NFL Draft Thread

Metcalf to the Raiders confirmed.

The argument could be made for the Jets to grab him because why wouldn't you want to surround Darnold with talent in his rookie-contract years? In reality tho, I can see Oak taking him at 4.

Depends on how it all plays out, but if Kyler/Haskin does indeed get picked up via a trade or by AZ, then no way the Jetes pass up on Bosa or Allen.

So many options for us garbage teams :pimp:

Al Davis when Metcalf ran that 4.3 40

If Bosa is there at 3 :emoji_sweat_smile:

DK looks awesome and all... but can he run routes and get open? Dude was a nonfactor in pads.

That mass might be a hindrance to his flexibility and honestly as well as his abilities to run routes. Non factor for sure but we see this every year - the league still cant help itself with workout warriors.

He was a no show vs CB1 Greedy Williams.

AJ Brown over DK for me

Where was Metcalf going in mock drafts during the college football season?

DK is a freak of nature and has no problem with flexibility, the issues in/out of routes is nothing out of the ordinary you see from taller receivers. If there was no AJ then his numbers would have been ridiculous but AJ is elite in the slot (or out wide) and they had production from the entire room. If he goes to a team that will continue to coach him then he's ceiling is ridiculous. If he goes somewhere with a subpar receivers coach who can just scheme then he won't do as well as his draft position. All that being said AJ is the more natural and complete receiver and is plug and play in either the inside or outside.

AJ's natural position is out wide.

Cuz he’s a physical freak but never had more than 600 yards and 7 TDs in college and may not be top 3 pick good?

Jets definitely taking Metcalf at #3. If the draft were in NY and they passed on him :lol :rollin

i saw metcalf in the 2nd round in most mocks a month or 2 ago. saw some with Paris Cambell as the first WR off the board too.

I'm perfectly fine if this ages poorly and D.K. proves me completely wrong, but I think A.J. Brown, "Hollywood" Brown, Deebo Samuel and Parris Campbell all have better NFL careers than Metcalf. Tempted to throw N'Keal Harry in there too, but maybe I'm wildin'.

I know everyone expects Josh Jacobs to be the first back taken and the best in the class, but I'm pegging Devin Singletary to end up being the most successful. See a little bit of "Shady" with the cutback ability.
