MJ was hyper competitive. But you knew he drank, smoke cigars, partied, etc. He “appears” more human than Kobe. Kobe was hyper obsessed. B Ball seemed to be his life.

We never got to see his second act. RIP.

Kobe also seemed to show a lot more warmth and humanity later in life though. Not to paint Mike out to be some villain, but older Kobe seemed a little less self obsessed than MJ to me. Like he really wanted to be a part of other people’s lives.

Curry is on another level, but CP3 is almost automatic whenever he gets a open jumper.
“When he gets an open jumper” One of the analytics guys would need to take a look but even a casual glance at the percentages will tell you it’s not even close. Steph has shot 44% for his career while CP3 has shot over 40% from deep 4 times in 16 years.

Then account for volume. CP’s most prolific season was 144 3PM at 38%. Steph’s LEAST prolific season was 151 3PM at 44%.

Maybe CP just needs to get open more >D

Chris Paul DEFINITELY can shoot with the best of them. But like Nash and Stockton, he never shot ENOUGH. It was taboo back in those days except for AI... who eventually was listed as a SG and Snow and McKie were labeled as the PGs...
