Honestly, after having both in hand, minus the NY to Paris having a solid color midsole/outsole, I think I prefer the NY pair over the LA to Chi pair, and I’m a Laker fan, and Chicagos are my favorite jordan 1.
Could possibly be the hot pink on the shoe, if done right, can almost have an atc2 hot lava vibe to it.
Both are nice, I just don’t see the how there’s so much more hype on the LA-Chi pair.

because one pair are white/black (considered very plain) and the other has color. when you consider that the paint comes off to reveal a different colorway underneath, Chicago >>> pink.

Literally just accidentally clicked into sneakercon live IG story and they were talking about both these pairs and Travis. Both guys talked about how dope LA and Travis were and how NYCs weren’t it.
If the values were reversed, I’m 1000% sure their opinions would be.

facts. The Travis pair is a great cw, but that reverse swoosh ruins them for me.
Now days it’s exclusivity over aesthetics in most cases.
