2025 NFL Draft Thread

I could understand the 1st round, but he should've been the 2nd qb off the board. 2nd round, 3rd round, didn't matter. 2nd qb off the board.

But this is the shield after all.

How many wins saves his job as a non Giant fan?

We have the hardest schedule in football. I’m guessing we get 5-6 wins and that’s not enough unless late in the season, Dart is looking like Patrick Mahomes.

i think if the team shows improvement generally speaking. with PHI and WAS in division, i think playoffs is a reach obviously. but if the team takes steps forward and young players are coming along, no reason to move on even if it ends up being a losing season

It was basically confirmed that Daboll was gone until they won that pointless game against Indy. Mara wants to keep Schoen so he doesn’t look incompetent firing another GM.

WE CLEANING HOUSE AGAIN BABY. NEW GM, HC AND QB

I get he’s trying to downplay the situation, but this is exactly why the Browns have been — and will keep being — an *** organization. They had a legit squad for like a year, then completely fumbled it away. And this dude? Man, I just don’t like him — sorry-*** looking MFer.

Mara said he wanted stability in the front office instead of continuing to clean house every couple years. He forced Jones on them. He has to give them the opportunity to develop their guy.

They should show improvement. Roster is much, much better than it was a year ago.

"dad was our agent, but that hasnt been working out too good....i had to sign with an agent" Shilo Sanders

thats what i been saying DEION cost his kids $ and its a shame because shedeur put A LOT in his pocket.

Jan - April part of the process is so important. combine, workouts, pro days, interviews, chats, tests. AGENTS HAVE GAME PLAN FOR THAT.

shedeur went with his dad as agent. the same dude that rightfully so told the giants no when the asked him in 1989 to take a test. he said you're picking too low. ...

Probably why this MF is getting fired this year.

You think I give a damn if a player can’t handle all this BS? Can that MF play or not? Simple.

And let’s be real — this dude didn’t make Allen. Allen saved this MF’s football career. Facts.

Not quite. There were numerous reports on his involvement with Allen’s development.

Sanders couldn’t get through an offense install they gave him ahead of time to prepare for. Deion did a terrible job of preparing him.

Again, can a MF play or not? That’s all that matters. I get you want a QB who can handle your “genius” playbook, but you don’t pass up real talent just because some dude can ace your complicated, fast-paced mental obstacle course. This ain’t a spelling bee — it’s football.

You do realize they have to memorize word for word thousands of calls and hear/spit them out in 10-15 seconds for 3+ hours, every week, right?

That stuff is DIRE importance for every offense in the NFL.

these guys dont get it. its all a big test. its not just Xs and Os. they also get into leadership, they ask tough questions to see how you react. this was just that giants this dude bombed with meetings. what about steelers and saints. its not just about what you do in season. there is a entire combine event, there are pro days at your school, meetings chats. its and ENTIRE process. IF YOU PREPARE you will connect with a team. he wasnt because not from smarts or skills but because he HAD NO AGENT TO GIVE HIM THE PLAN THE EXPERTS. dude people say you're slow, work with sprinter coaches get your 40 to 4.7. there was talk that he couldnt run a sub 5! TALK but not facts.

its also can you WORK with this person. can they lead men.
IF YOU ever hired anyone that is a direct report. more often than not the person you hire is the person YOU feel man i can roll with this person and get things done.

I’ll tell you this — if you put a rock with QB talent on one side and a genius with no talent on the other, I’m taking the rock 10 outta 10 times. I’d rather dumb down my playbook than bet on a so-called genius who’s a subpar athlete.

Dan Marino had one of the lowest Wonderlic at 15 while Blaine Gabbert was in the high 40s .... hmmmm ...

I thought Wonderlic was already proven to be unreliable and they did away with it?
