2025 NFL Draft Thread

It’s not about him being cocky, man. He’s average size, not mobile, above average accuracy and holds on to the ball too long. Will Levis also didn’t go R1 and he has more of the prototypical QB arm strength and athleticism that they hype up.

He’s just not that good of a prospect this isn’t some racist thing where a guy who was a first round pick got dropped because he’s brash. They’ve been calling this a super weak QB class all year but y’all fell for Deion’s marketing scheme. Cam Ward was a mid round pick if he came out last year and he went #1 overall. It’s not too difficult to piece together how he teams felt about these QBs. And the Giants are a poorly run organization, of course they pick Jones and Dart back to back

Nah we ain't fall for nothing. I know I didn't. We know this QB class was weak, we knew that after last years. People already skipped to Arch Manning. Which adds to the point. Again, it was only 2 QB's being talked about all year but now the Jaxson Dart hype train is full swing.

Richardson owes josh Allen money.. but he’s a bad example because dude showed up at the combine and put up absurd numbers at DE size and threw the ball a mile.. stuff majority of humans can’t do

Sanders is under 6’2 and not super athletic and not a strong arm guy.. Matt Barkley was hyped and then teams actually started studying him and he ending up dropping to the 4th

That's my point. AR was a reach based on the combine. He wasn't accurate at Florida and it's worse in the NFL. Still rooting for him.

No one is hyping dart, if a QB drops out the top 10 no one should be talking about hype.. hell probably the top 3-5

People knew the bills were taking a risk on measurables with josh Allen.. people know colts were taking a gamble on measurables and hoping coaches could mold him.. hell people knew eagles were taking a risk with Carson wentz same with 9ers and Trey lance, but that was size athleticism and arm

Daniel jones was super smart how he played the game plus being ideal size (6’5) and solid athlete.. he had the whole manning camp backing him and went to a team they had ties with

The Jaxson Dart hype is in full swing . Yes, from two guys who should be unemployed but are trying to buy more time to save their job

I'm literally hearing Dan on ESPN hype him up :lol

It’s gotta be racist since the #1 overall pick was a black QB :lol

I blame you for watching espn

Just like draft people gotta pump out draft content year round so known guys names are going appear in 2026 mock drafts starting as soon as this is done

ESPN has two more days of actual draft to show along with the ability to gear their shows around draft coverage knowing millions of fans want to hear their teams picks being discussed

Also gotta factor in how little fans actual know about football.. it’s easier to discuss QBs and show the guy throwing touchdowns or a RB and show highlights

But a guard or tackle, that ain’t sexy for as much as it helps teams win and makes the above easier.. it’s why defensive line guys pfor way too many people get judged by sacks and DBs get judged by INTs when the reality is if you’re extremely good at that job teams won’t throw your way

Shedeur ain’t NO LESS the player of…

Tua, Bryce Young and JJ McCarthy… the NFL is trying to teach him a lesson.

Him and Cam Word were both 6’1” and change, one 212 and one 219

It’s not about size

daytime ESPN shows, at that :lol

Giants took a QB in the first, it’s going get discussed

Just like cowboys are going get discussed.. just like lakers and LeBron are going get discussed

They probably just lost shannon sharpe, they going take the layups where they can

We’ve literally seen a run of QBs ranging from 5’10” - 6’1” be highhhhhhhhhh first round draft picks lately.

Shedeur has the SAME exact arm as guys like Tua, Bryce, and JJ McCarthy. Even Bo Nix.

Again, I AM biased because I’m a Deion fan but the NFL clearly is trying to humble Shedeur.

He should’ve been stood on his on two feet and tell pops to settle down and let me be my own mouthpiece. Having Deion speak for him all the time was detrimental

:lol some of those draft talks literally said Shaduer could be the 3rd overall pick or a 2nd round pick…but most of the “analysts” that i do watch and trust say he isn’t that good and its possible the NFL scouts/GM’s see it too. its possible its not his “arrogance” or “attitude” at all…unless its the Giants cause they clearly have a “type”

tbh when it comes to the draft, its more important where you go rather than when you go. hopefully Shaduer finds the right spot for him.

There's the job interview portion of all of this too.

In the end, you're applying for a job.

The Giants, who drafted Jaxson Dart, were trying to trade up to #1 to take.........Cam Ward. Tennessee wanted too much, so they went with their next best candidate. They certainly tried to draft a black QB, the Titans just wanted him more.

Maybe Dart did better in his interviews than Sanders did. Maybe it was from watching some film with them, or how they whiteboard, or how they just generally spoke about what they learned or mistakes they made and that self analysation.

We don't know those details, and whatever stuff gets said afterwards I wouldn't believe anyways because every team is going to say "he was our guy all along" (casually not mentioning they were trying to trade up for another guy at the same position but it fell thru :lol )

Yes, the 15 billion dollar enterprise needs to stand up against an early 20's college kid..........to teach some humility.

Listen to yourself. :{

They’ve done it before…. Jerry jones literally FIRED Jimmy Johnson because of his ego and is still fighting to win another SB…

Self sabotage is not rare with these big corporations…..

And we’re seeing how the size concerns that were discussed about tua and Bryce are showing up in the league

But the guys you mentioned actually won in college so you could see how teams bought in despite the concerns.. and you saw them doing it vs top end talent so you could allow yourself to believe they could overcome those limitations

Dak dropping to the 4th is a bigger surprise all things considered than shadeur dropping out the first.. not saying dak shoulda gone top 10 or the first.. but given his size athleticism shoulda at least been 2nd or 3rd.. just like jalen hurts, who was worth the 2nd round gamble it was just shocking it was the eagles who made the move

This. There was a report about Sanders struggling with an offense install at his last meeting with Daboll that rubbed him the wrong way.
