2025 NFL Draft Thread

Yeah at this point i feel like only a KC or Philly level team makes sense for Shedeur.

Some place he's automatically an afterthought because the teams are great and the QB's are beyond question.

Confidence + black = distraction

Confidence + white = love for the game, passionate.

Any chance THEY get to show us what they on they do.

Nah this ain't it. Lots of the black QBs in the NFL are confident. Cam Newton wasn't confident? Caleb Williams, Lamar Jackson and Jayden Daniels aren't confident?

Shadeur comes across as arrogant and entitled. He acts like he is doing NFL teams a favor by allowing them to draft him. Not to mention all the extra BS with his dad.

At the end of the day Shadeur overestimated his draft stock and she was acting as if he were a sure fire #1 pick like Andrew Luck or Eli Manning. If he truly were viewed as a can't miss prospect teams would be willing to deal with the extra BS but Shadeur just isn't that good.

NFL teams are drafting employees. Imagine going into an interview with a nonchalant, arrogant attitude and acting as if you are doing the company a favor by working for them.

100% He thought the giants were going there to see him in Colorado ha -

What happens then if Shedure goes undrafted? At this point I could see that happening. As a Saints fan I've been pissed since the 1st round that we didn't take him. Our QB situation stinks to high heaven

Vikes got 2 5th rounders and need a back up. Might as well let him learn under KOC

The problem with day 3 is teams are more likely to use picks for depth and developmental projects than a backup qb.

Raiders could obviously use sanders but we have a backup qb in AOC and still have hella holes on the roster (LB, secondary, could use another WR/RB, DL depth, etc…)

KC and rams I could see.. maybe 9ers

Philly would be bad on so many levels

I don’t know how much of the interview stuff I believe. I’m sure he had some answers people didn’t like but you’d think his HOF father would prep him for these interviews and how to handle himself. So many teams need a QB and passed which doesn’t add up.

Dallas - QB getting older and Jerry loves this type of attention.

Vegas, Cleveland, Pitt, NYJ and NO - need a QB

I heard an ex player say no matter what you say about him, eventually halfway through the second round, he’s the BPA on every team’s board and teams will overlook almost everything at this point.

given how far he's falling and the talent he has versus guys getting picked, i think it's clear teams question his ability to lead and be accountable for the entire team. that's something very specific to the QB position. you're the pulse and face of the team both inside and outside the room. and im not trying to tell you teams are right or wrong about this and Sanders. just trying to provide one reason why he might be falling. if there is something more sinister going on, that's definitely a shame and ******, of course

yeah i doubt it happens for a while but it would be interesting to see details on how those interviews went and what was said. i feel like he was set until he met with the Giants. as soon as the rumors of Mara and Daboll not loving the visit came out, he started falling in mocks

any logical reasons why Shedeur skipped the combine?

also, i think Deion had an idea this could potentially happen and thats why Shedeur wasnt in Green Bay

I know the eagles would value the clear value and he doesn’t have the limited off field stuff they avoid

But just from the stuff we know I know it would be an horrendous idea

Just look at the stuff the media ran with, with AJ brown.. the book stuff, without checking if it’s something he previously did.. the BS trade rumors when he has a 98 mill cap hit

If they showed they were willing to throw teammates under the bus in the media, can only imagine how bad that shh could go with Philly media and then deions connections at vaiours larger networks
