"A 24-year-old Louisiana man is dead after he stopped breathing while wrestling with a much younger cousin.
The New Orleans-Times Picayune reports Stephen A. Arceneaux III was attending a WrestleMania 28 pay-per-view party with friends and family when, while wrestling on an inflatable mattress infront of the TV, his 14-year-old cousin applied a "rear naked choke" hold on him for 30-to-40 seconds, witnesses say Arceneaux refused to end the horseplay by tapping out.
The 5-foot-10, 220-pound Arceneaux's body began to turn blue, and once someone realized what was going on, they ordered the 14-year-old cousin to release his grip. It was at this point people attending the party realized he had stopped breathing.
Despite the younger cousin standing just 5-foot-6 and weighing 110 pounds, the effect was overpowering.
While emergency personnel were rushing to provide assistance, Arceneaux's girlfriend attempted CPR in a desperate attempt save his life.
He was taken to St. Charles Parish Hospital in New Orleans, where he was declared dead less than an hour later.
Police officials told the Times-Picayune that no arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing.
WWE regularly warns viewers not to "try this at home," but this is just one more example of not everyone getting the message."
