I rarely agree w. Marley, but he's 100% right....there is no point in keeping an ineffective McNabb under center.  Why not see what Grossman or Beck can do in these final 3 games.
This is the most foolish thing I've ever seen you write. Neither one of those goons are going to be the starting QB. McNabb isn't the source of the problem. You have no offensive line, no running game, no receivers, and you have one of the ****tiest defenses in the entire league.

Your franchise SUCKS and will never get out of the ground with that idiot running the show. Anybody without blinders on knew what kind of season the team was going to have. Like somebody else said, either show patience or you should have never traded for McNabb in the first place.
I find this utterly hilarious coming from an Eagles fan

Now THAT is comedy.

back to the topic at hand...I never said that Grossman or Beck is the solution.  All I said was that with McNabb being so ineffective, why not give the other guys a chance.  There is plenty of blame you can place on the o-line, run game, WRs, etc...however, McNabb has been TERRIBLE.  He hasn't helped himself when he's had time to throw, make accurate passes, or show some semblance of football smarts.  If the writing is on the wall w. McNabb and you know he's not going to be your guy going forward, there shouldn't be a problem with Grossman or Beck getting PT at this point in the season.

That comment was one of the top 5 dumbest things i've read on s&t, ever.

Right, so having a well run organization matters when you dont win? "Well we're run good. We don't win anything ever but i mean, we're run good. So that counts for something right?" That what ya'll are resorting to now? I mean i guess you have to find something to give you hope but its pathetic, clown.

As for McNabb, you're going to finally bench him against a team he knows better than anyone else on the roster or in the organization?

Tell me the Eagles aren't well run. Just do it. We've been a contender for more than a decade now. Like I've said in the past, if we were to win the SB this year, what are you going to say about the past 11 years? That we weren't any good until we won it all this year?

Why not?  If he's playing better than the 25th ranked QB in the NFL, then I see your point.  Can you remind me what exactly the Skins are playing for right now?  Do they give out trophies for non-playoff teams winning the regular season championship?  What are they playing for???  The more losses the skins mount up, the higher the draft pick...it's "whatever" at this point....There is NOTHING for the Skins to lose (other than bragging rights vs. the Cowboys) by starting Grossman or Beck on Sunday.

You got a lot of hypotheticals in your statement..."if we win the Super Bowl..."

They don't have anything to play for no, but why turn to Grossman? He's had his chances and it's evident he won't be a long-term starting q for anybody. He's not some hot shot youngster waiting to prove himself anymore.

Especially since they gave McNabb a contract. Throwing your QB under the bus like that never ever bodes well. Tell me now what QB would want to play for Shannan after the way he's treating McNabb and ultimately the way he treats QB's not named Elway in general. Plummer spoke on this subject earlier this year.

The ********, Shannahan, and McNabb have failed miserably (ignore my avy).

What I said went right over your head.

I was asking, if we were to win a SB this year, what do you say about the franchise for the past 10 years? Because right now you're trying to tell me that we're not well run because everything is measured in SB victories. All I want to know is if a franchise only becomes well run the moment they win it all (ie. Colts weren't well run until they won it all in 2006).

The Eagles haven't had the success that the ******** have had in terms of Super Bowls, but I don't see how anyone can say that they aren't run in a much more intelligent way.
