The Eagles haven't had the success that the ******** have had in terms of Super Bowls, but I don't see how anyone can say that they aren't run in a much more intelligent way.

Word. They draft well (Celek in the 5th, Jackson in the 2nd, McCoy in the 2nd). They make quality trades (Jason Peters, McNabb trade). They sign solid free agents (Vick). And (other than Super Bowls) they produce. Only the Steelers, Colts, Pats, and maybe the Ravens and Giants have been run on an equal level or better.

After a news conference today where Almost Mayor Vince Gray introduced some new appointees to his administration, he was asked by reporters what he thought of the Skins' decision . Gray did not hold back:
"How do you sign a guy for five years for what, almost a $50 million contract and then sit him down—for Rex Grossman? Ha, ha. Rex Grossman is gonna start? Did you see his one play!? He was the baloney in a sandwich, and..." At this point, Gray stumbled over his words trying to describe the folly involved when McNabb was benched during the last minutes of a game against Detroit, and Grossman fumbled the game away in his first play. "You got me going, guys—the ******** still had a chance to win that game!"
Gray doesn't think Grossman is all bad: "Rex was a great college quarterback, okay—I'll leave it at that."

I understand that the skins are not in the playoff hunt by why sit Mcnabb now? So we can see what Grossman can do? That is such a joke... Tell me you want to see what Beck can do instead...
Mcnabb has played bad, but we should of let him finish off the season and maybe we could of enticed some teams to look into trading a pick for him (arizona, vikings). By benching Mcnabb we just devalued him and teams know now that we will eventually just cut him and not get anything in return... That to me is the most upsetting because we gave up a second and a fourth for this guy for only a one year rental...
