I was just wondering if the 360 can play HD DVD's? .. not blu-rays but the once overpriced dvd's that are discontinued. Thanks

^ you should be able to pick up a hd dvd drive for 360 for like 20 bucks or less now.
mine still gets a lot of use. a few amazon sellers have 3 for 5$ deals.

From what I can tell Sony doesn't own Blu-Ray it was just one of the first companies to back Blu-Ray.
