I like my soul samples to still have soul. 9th doesn't chop %+%+ up to oblivion.
Of course Premo has more classic songs but instrumentals vs intrumentals 9th wins in my book
Im a fan of soul music so when I hear a 9th beat and he leaves the essence of the song ill take that over that boom bap %+%+ any day.

Im a soul music dude myself and you make a good point but Preme's Boom Bap hits the spot for me also and i'd take his catalog over 9th's with out a second thought.

Cartune my biggest gripe with 9th's *%## is that his sample choices (and how he freaks em') can be so damn irritating!He's VERY hit or miss for me.I will say that "The Listening" is pure perfection though!
