A$AP

He already gave yall that though, he's not going to move forward rehashing a style he's already made a ton of music in.

Danger Mouse is a way better and more versatile producer than Clams and it's not even close.

I'd be cool with never hearing them collab again.

This album has been on repeat all day

Ye's was eh.

Production is bonkers.

Beautiful music.

I had no idea Canal St. is just a rehashed Bones song...

It's whatever, still bangs.  I'll take Rocky's version.

That Kanye verse is god awful. I would have left that off if I was Rocky.

Anyway, after listening to the album a couple of times, I think its great.  It is long though, there is a lot going on and a lot to take in.  The thing is he hasn't put out a lot of music since his last album, so its not such a bad thing.  Plus, I don't know what songs to take off.  I like some better than others, but none are bad.

We share the same sentiments on everything you addressed

Danger mouse wasn't the problem with the album to me

Dudes talambout put asap rocky on clams casino like clams casino is in high demand right now.

Clams Casino ain't even doing nothing right now. His sound is outdated.

It seems like he feel back purposely, I know he was in school for Physical Therapy. He's also been trying to branch out and work with different artists like FKA and Jhene Aiko

This album should've been like 12 or 13 tracks and it should've had multiply on it. There's too many skippable beats on here. I wish he'd get back with Clams Casino.

Yeah. I'm definitely not a fan of long albums. I like 10-12 songs. This album has some VERY boring beats and he doesn't have the lyrics to keep my attention even with boring production. 18 songs is a lot, there's probably 4-5 that bore me to death. Played the album four times today. I still like the album though, will probably just delete a few songs to make the album sound better to me.

very good album...its cool to see him go in a new direction with a lot of these tracks. then there's some other tracks with that classic rocky sound to them, so both are appreciated.

-canal st. is cold
-rocky & schoolboy q with another banger
-the hooks on max b, pharsyde, & westside highway were all great
-really liked the way the samples were used on jukebox joints, wavybone, & everyday
-wayne destroyed m'$ :x :x

these beats have a clam feel to me, how is clam outdated?

these new songs just have different style hooks that compliment the beat

this album just sounds like a more matured progression of style and vocals

This album is kinda long lol. That stretch of songs after Jukebox is just ehhhh
Max B, Pharsyde & Westside Highway coulda easily all been replaced by Multiply
Still gotta listen to the rest tho

only got into 3 songs before having to leave for work. Didn't notice at all that Multiply is absent, why? about to go for a listen now

I don't even care that Multiply isn't on the album. I wanted to hear some new songs that I haven't been listening to.

Listening now.

"Multiply" definitely fits the vibe of this album. Rakim dropped the ball on that.
