Because people are a-holes. Glad the fit is slightly bigger....went half size down from my normal 11W/9.5M to 10.5W/9M is still roomy/comfy.

9-10/10.5M is really popular mens size. Inventory is usually highest in that range because of it being so commom

I don’t have the performance basketball version so I can’t speak on those. The Lifestyle version however was disappointing in terms of comfort and fit.
