Acting "Black"?

i got this specific saying ALL MY LIFE.... i grew up in a black neighborhood. i have 98% black friends. etc etc etc....

I never understood it, nor will i. Im not ignorant enough or short sighted to want to understand this. People are who they are. Them acting "Black" or acting "white" is irrelevant, ignorant, racist, and bluntly beyond stupid. society tells us tho; im white. I need to wear a polo, short khaki shorts and play golf. My black friends need to sell rock, shoot people, and play baskeball..... really?.... really? This is how inhumane we (as a society) have become? Because of where they grew up, influences, friends, family, etc. I dont get it, not in my makeup i guess. To each his own.

This is what I mean...does Tiger Woods "copy" a race? Does "Barrack?
What exactly are they "copying"?  Because their both African-American
they should speak with broken English and sag their pants so low they're wobbling
around like a ginger bread man cookie? They should adopt the self-defeating stereo type
of undesirable urban YOUTH that are mis-guided?  Is it somehow easier for the general consensus
to accept us this way? Does the mind subconsciously have trouble processing this as reality? Because the T.V. has showed us different?

Prime example: Transformers: When Sam's in the police station the cop says "You eyeballing my piece 50Cent?"

The audience thought it was hilarious, I saw the general public's need to identify African-American's with crime and plight.
That's why 50 Cent is celebrated as a "gangsta", meanwhile his fans which are now probably just graduating college
has moved on in life to more conservative communities that are "selective" about who can join. Even if they're not discriminatory
themselves they belong to a group where 2 out of 5 males in a position of power are. THEY can socially maneuver WE can't


I have countless White (Irish, Arab, Jew, Italian) acquaintances during parties they attend the "N" word is thrown around in celebratory
fashion, but if I say it or use any type of slang that's new or unheard of I'm "boxed" as dismissible. And Monday everyone goes back
to the offices, campus, neighborhoods, where diversity ISN'T the first choice. And no one "talk black"....

So you see, my ethnic classification is entwined with EVERYTHING NEGATIVE about people who share my skin color,
It's a system that goes unchecked, because it somehow became the "norm" and acceptable.

But what's sad is it's not a two way street. Other groups aren't met with a pre-disposition.

When an immigrant Asian speaks fluent english with proper diction, THAT'S IT, HE SPEAKS FLUENT ENGLISH...Same for Hispanics, Same for Indians etc.
But when an African American displays distinguished intelligence and admirable repoire he's ostracized as "acting white".
And again, if a guy says "Yo Dawgg gimme dap" and you accept that dap and begin return urban sang and banter
you're MARKED as undesirable and pretty much met with ambivalent acceptance into "the group", whether occupational, educational, social, or sexual.
Like you're not allowed joke, imitate, or welcome anything  that resembles urban dysfunctional behavior, meanwhile EVERYONE around you manuever "freely"
without appearing uptight and socially aware.

I think it's about being into the Hip Hop culture but white people think if anyone enjoys thing most black people do they are acting "black."

This why is why we reverse it and say "acting white."

Let's be real, when people say black in that context, what they mean is ghetto.

Personally, if this were a problem I dealt with, I would focus on why America thinks "black" and "ghetto" are interchangeable terms.
