Carted a 10 and was trying to check out and pay via PayPal, but whenever I press Place Order it just refreshed and my order never went through

To my knowledge, ADC does hold carts but for 10 minutes. Once that timer runs out, your cart gets emptied. That's why you're seeing sizes popping up.
