Got these in from Finishline over the weekend. They're $60 with shipping but after coupon and WC reward that they sent me for my birthday came out to $40 so I grabbed them.
A lot of NBA players(Duncan, Barnes, etc) are wearing them but they must be wearing orthotics or Adidas added more cushioning in the forefoot on their pairs as they are non-existent in these. Doesn't help that they keep putting in cheap and thin insoles. Still wearable but not for lengthy periods. The thicker Adiprene+ heel makes up for it though and heel to toe transition is smoother.
The upper is a mix of mesh and fuse. The fuse on the toe guard is nicer quality than usual. It's like a soft brushed material and some what thick so should be more durable. Better quality than the Wall 2.0. The ankle area is thickly padded and feels comfortable also better than the Wall 2.0. Since there's mesh the ventilation could have been better.
It's a low but it's in-between low and mid. The high wrapping midsole adds a little stability and support as the mesh and the fuse layer between the mesh doesn't give you that alone. I like the combination as it gives you full range of motion and not restricting.
True to size and replace with thicker insoles or half size down.
The traction is nothing crazy, it's okay just like the Crazy Quick 1 and 2. The crazyquick design of the outsole has always been the highlight. If you are a forefoot striker it's everything you look for.
I give this shoe a 7 out 10.
