No I see it, I know what you mean. But it's still just a little bit more. To an untrained eye or to someone without a legit pair to compare, they might not even see the difference in it.
Okay just pointing out from my observation and stuff. For whenever the reps start dropping on eBay that's one way to try and distinguish the first batch.

Trust me, on the real pair, the bend is noticeable but not as major as the reps. They'll get it right..

I think I was one of the few that got through footlocker today after Almost 3,5 hours with a break of trying it on adidas :smokin

It's funny how kats in the Yeezy threads can openly post and condone fakes, that wouldn't be tolerated in any of the jordan retro threads..
All because a few of y'all are butt hurt they weren't a GR like that guy with the vamp screen name tried to make them out to be...smh

Butthurt?

I was bringing up a discussion point that shouldn't just simply be ignored...

You do realise that it's going to be sooner rather than later that there will be 0 difference between fakes and authentics...

When materials, stitching, patterns, shape etc are 100% 1.1 replica... What happens then?

But eventually when stuff is being made exactly the same for a fraction of the price that Adidas/Nike are selling at?

I don't condone fakes. The only fake item I own was bought unintentionally.

BUT I don't look down on people who do own fakes. Whether it is due to limited availability or simply they can't afford it.

Probably going to get flamed for this but whatever....

except the fact that there will ALWAYS be at least 1 difference between fakes and authentics. Always. Whats the most profitable resell shoe right about now? RO? Mags? no matter how many versions they try to perfect the fakes, there is still at least 1 noticeable difference.

The Y2 thread is rather a bit more explicit about its No-rep-talk policy whereas this one isn't. Added to the fact that i simply inquired on y'all thoughts; didn't mean to derail the thread.

Anyway, Mea Culpa.

Was that implied at me? If so, you know nothing about me...

If that's what people want to do then that's fine by me.

I don't think people are understanding my main point.

People buy fakes, sell them as fakes. People buy authentic, sell them as authentic.

It's when those two cross which is the problem. And it's getting harder and harder to tell, as proven from these Yeezys.

Except almost 100% of people who have fakes to sell, don't sell them as fakes. They try to play it off as authentic.

And still, it's not that hard to tell the difference between these latest fakes, so they're yet to be proven.

Exactly my point.

I remember going to Thailand a few years ago and seeing fake Bred 1's. I literally picked them up and they started falling apart, they just looked awful.

Nowadays though its the finer details you have to look for to determine a fake.

This is the last time I'm going to repeat myself as I'm getting slightly irritated.

What happens when fakes become 1.1 perfect?

I'll give an example...

Womens handbags. I swear around 1 in 5 women have at least one fake designer handbag. (Obviously made up number but you get my gist)

Do other women care it's fake? Mostly no.

The thing is, the majority of women WON'T try and sell fakes as authentic.

My concern is what happens to the sneaker community and culture.

This is my last message as it's derailing. In all honesty I believe this topic could do with it's own thread but i know mods wouldn't allow it.

yes but I gave you my opinion a post before that. I said that there will ALWAYS ALWAYS be at least 1 noticeable difference between fake and authentic. Even handbags. The difference is does the buyer care or not. Not whether if the buyer is gullible enough to fall for a fake passed off as authentic.

Fair enough if you actually believe that...

There is always going to be something off. rolex has had the same look for how many years and these fakes still cant get it right.

Something like a rolex is a lot more complex in manufacturing. They use very complex materials and machining methods that are very difficult to replicate without specialist tools. That most chinese factories don't have.

This is drastically different from sneakers seeing as though the authentic and fakes can sometimes be made in the same factory with the same molds being used..

I don't think talking about reps means you are butt hurt. These don't even come in my size so I have 0 bias. I'm just stating facts like many others when it comes to reps. They will never be perfect, but like I said $150 vs. $2,000 for minimum variation when the materials and shoes are from the same country? I see why people buy them. Now if these factories start implementing proper machinery and quality control than everyone is in trouble. I'm sure they can perfect them if they wanted to but these are meant to be fakes so why would they bother.
