Ads vs. Reality . . .

They definitely use real food, it's all camera angles, lighting, and the fact that they are taking a picture that will be the face of this product for years. They of course make it perfect. I feel like this thread is a reach. Also the reality pics are all really bad. For example I've never had a BK sandwich look the way these do, even though I hate fast food now.
 
carlos jr is the only place i think that looks close to the ads.

That must be their Mexican franchise.

Most fast food looks nothing like the picture. The "food" in those ads have more makeup specialists than kim k.

I remember a saying from a documentary about this "if it looks hot, it's probably cald, if it looks cold, it's probably crisco." No idea why that stuck with me almost 20 years.
 
Fast food places should start using this as their slogans.

"It's a dollar, what did you expect?"
