Those grey/white/yellows are SOOOOO dope.

That irredescant black toecap was insane lol . They had so many dope colorways of these back then . I have the ones with the phoenix or whatever on the tongue too . They’re like a tan with purple orange and teal if I remember correctly . Forgot what those are called but they’re super cool looking

Yeah I know exactly what ones you’re talking about lol . They’re mostly white . The ones with the black toe cap are mostly grey . Either way there’s so many good colorways . It’s weird that they just keep bringing back the Auburns over and over again …. On a side note we’re WAYYY overdue a trainer 91 retro and trainer max2 94 retro … 90’s cross trainer retros were all the rage for a while and now you hardly see retros of them at all .

Damn bruh those look amazing . Never seen an OG pair before . That box is very cool looking . And DAMN the size of that air bubble lol . Those were everywhere in 05-06 . Takes me right back to high school . Had a really cool white and grey pair with a little red . Don’t think they were an OG colorway

Damn shame these never really been done right I had those retros felt like bricks and felt super cheap.

Was just about to say the same thing! The weird regular leather they used instead of the oiled Durabuck or whatever it was those OG's used.

Yeah, the Raiders colorway has been the biggest let down. They only retroed them correctly once ever and I want to say that was like 98 or 99 maybe? Everything since then has looked like a takedown version of the shoe with a ton of shortcuts as far as materials, colors, etc.

The SC trainer in general is kind of a shame because it's one of my favorite Nike's but they've treated the shoe like a side chick on Feb 15th. Really hoping with this remastered approach they've been taking that this time around is better. They did a solid job with the Tech Challenges last year, the Linen AF1's, Air Max 180's, and even the Spiridons are so far so good. Would double on the Raiders and triple on Auburns if they did them justice.

That’s what’s weird some of the models you just named aren’t even really all that popular but they took there time and did a nice job the Bo’s are some of there most iconic shoes but get relegated as the red headed step child of nike.

Old video, but it really shows how Nike butchered this model. A recraft would be nice, but I don’t see it happening. They will keep releasing the Auburn colorway every 3-5 years with garbage materials and shape.
